FAZ President Andrew Kamanga will not stand for the FAZ top job in 2025, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Having clocked almost 12 months into his second term, it has now emerged that successful businessman will not seek to be re-elected at the next FAZ elective AGM.
“The boss won’t be standing again. The only thing he wants to see is Zambia at the African Cup of Nations,” a ZamFoot Crew insider said
There have been calls for him to resign following the Chipolopolo Boy’s dismissal performance but the ZamFoot Crew understands that option is out.
“He is not a quitter. Yes, the failure to qualify for AFCON has been hurting even for him.
“But with the coming of the new coach, he has faith that Zambia will qualify. He wants to go on a high and believes Zambia will do well in this calendar year.
Kamanga was re-elected last year and polled 57 votes while Emmanuel Munaile had 29.
