NAPSA Queens’ new acquisition Faustina Ndelelwa was the hero on Wednesday with her splendid performance as she bagged a hattrick in her second game for The Pensioners when they silenced ZANACO Ladies 4-0 in a 2020/21 FAZ Women’s League Lusaka Province Rescheduled Match Week 2 at NAPSA Sports Complex.
Ndelelwa who joined Tangala Girls a week ago is a former Play It Forward (formerly Livingstone Youth) striker who made her league debut for Tangala Girls the past weekend in a 2-1 victory over Misisi Queens United and she has already adapted to the Tangala style of play.
Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew after yesterday’s game, Ndelelwa said she is very happy to score her first goals for NAPSA and she’s looking forward to scoring more in the upcoming assignments.
“I am excited to be here at NAPSA and getting my first goals makes me happy and I am looking forward to helping my team by scoring more goals in the upcoming games,” Ndelelwa said.
Ndelelwa was part of Coach Charles Haluboono’s final squad last year (2020) for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers for the Zambia Women’s Under-20 team, including the friendly match the Young Copper Queens played against Malawi in Lusaka last year so she is an added advantage to the NAPSA Queens set-up.
The coach Enala Phiri Simbeye’s drilled lasses have been a house on fire in the Lusaka Women’s League recording back-to-back victories stretching to 5 games unbeaten run now out of 6 played.
NAPSA’s next assignment this weekend is an away fixture at the Natural Resources Development College (NRDC) Ground against Football Chance Foundation Girls in a match week 12.
