Striker Emmanuel Mwiinde and Hatta Club will be participating in the upcoming season of the UAE Pro League, also known as the ADNOC Pro League.

This opportunity comes after Hatta Club, based in Dubai, emerged victorious in the UAE First Division League, securing 75 points from 32 games.
Mwiinde’s association with Hatta Club began in November 2022, following the conclusion of his contract with Zanaco.
The striker expressed his delight at this development, particularly because it will give him the chance to compete in the Country’s top tier.
Reflecting on his performance, Mwiinde commented, “Overall, I am satisfied with my season, particularly since we achieved our team’s goal. However, I personally fell short of my targets as a striker in terms of scoring more goals and providing assists. Nevertheless, I am extremely pleased with the team’s success.”
He continued, “It’s truly an incredible and indescribable feeling to win the league in my first season in the UAE, especially after winning it during my initial season in Israel as well. I feel blessed and grateful for these achievements. Undoubtedly, God has been faithful.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Mwiinde has set personal goals and aims to contribute significantly to his club’s success.
He stated, “My objective for the next season is to fulfil my individual goals, which I believe I fell short of this season. Additionally, I aspire to continue improving myself and, if possible, win another accolade.”
Before his move to the UAE, Mwiinde had a brief and unsuccessful stint with Young Zanaco in 2016. Subsequently, he joined Chindwin Centries and later Young Buffaloes, where he enjoyed a successful period, assisting them in eliminating Zanaco and senior Green Buffaloes to reach the final of the 2018 Barclays Cup.
Mwiinde’s talent was recognized when he became part of coach Charles Bwale’s U20 squad for the 2018 COSAFA U20, where he contributed a goal for the Young Copper Bullets.
He then joined Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2018 and played a crucial role in their league victory during the 2018/19 season, scoring eight goals in 16 games in the Israeli National Youth Division.
After a fruitful season in Israel, Mwiinde returned to Zambia, initially joining Buildcon for a season before moving to Nkana, where he reached the Group Stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
