Emmanuel Mwiinde on the verge of completing a move to the UAE

Zambian striker Emmanuel Mwiinde is close to sealing a move to the United Arab Emirates, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

Mwiinde is in the middle east to complete a move to United Arab Emirates side FC Hatta, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

Mwiinde is unattached following the expiration of his contract with Super League side, Sensational Zanaco at the end of the season.

Mwiinde could have extended his stay at Zanaco but the two parties could not agree on terms hence the deal broke down.

Should Mwiinde complete his move as is expected, he will become the second Zambian striker in recent time to join the UAE Arabian Gulf League side, Mwape Musonda had an eighth month stint at the club.

Mwiinde had a short unsuccessful stint at Young Zanaco in 2016 before moving to Chindwin Centries and later on Young Buffaloes where he had a successful spell helping them eliminate Zanaco and senior Green Buffaloes to reach the final of the 2018 Barclays Cup.

The pacey forward was part of coach Charles Bwale’s U20 squad for the 2018 COSAFA U20 where he scored one goal for the Young Copper Bullets.

He joined Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2018 and was part of the team that won the league during the 2018/19 season.

Mwiinde scored eight League goals in 16 games in the Israeli National Youth Division.

After a fruitful season in Israel, he returned to Zambia and his first stop was at Buildcon where he spent a season before joining Nkana and reached the Group Stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
