Kansanshi Dynamos have signed Ugandan forward Joseph Ssemujju on a 17-month contract as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026 Transitional League.
The Solwezi-based club confirmed the arrival of the striker on Tuesday, with the deal running from August 2026 to December 2027.
Ssemujju joins the Fearless Mabanga Boys as a free agent after most recently playing for Uganda Premier League side URA FC.
The forward, who primarily operates as a striker, becomes the latest addition to Kansanshi Dynamos as they prepare for the Transitional League, which is scheduled to begin on 3 October.
Club general secretary Mweshi Mupeta said Ssemujju’s arrival was part of the club’s efforts to build a competitive squad.
“We are pleased to welcome Joseph to Kansanshi Dynamos. We believe his qualities will add value to the team as we prepare for the Transitional League.”
Ssemujju, meanwhile, has set his sights on making an immediate impact in front of goal.
“I’m excited and happy to be here. Kansanshi Dynamos fans should expect goals because I’m a striker, and my role is to try and score goals,” he said.
The Ugandan added that he was looking to improve his game while helping the club achieve its objectives.
Kansanshi Dynamos will be hoping Ssemujju can provide additional firepower as they prepare for the new campaign following a period of squad strengthening.
