Zambian midfielder Emmanuel Banda scored a beauty of a strike as Djurgådens IF cruised to a 5-2 win over GIF Sundsvall in an Allsvenskan encounter.
Banda came from the bench to replace Hampus Finndel in the 59th minute.
It was the hosts who actually struck first , just five minutes into the match, Saku Ylätupa’s post found Ronaldo Damus who could nod in 1-0 for the home team without a threat.
Djurgådens however drew level in the 14th minute thanks to a Hjalmar Ekdal who headed in the equalizer off a Joel Asoro cross.
Asoro then turned finisher five minutes later finishing off a Hampus Finndel pass. Two minutes later Haris Radetinac made it 3-1.
It was 4-1 seven minutes to half time as Victor Edvardsen ran loose from deep and angled the ball into the far post.
In the second half, Substitute, Emmanuel Banda then produced the best moment of the match with a beauty of a chip beating the GIF Sundsvall goalkeeper from outside the box with great panache.
Sundsvall pulled one back in the 86th minute through substitute, Pontus Engblom but it was a little too late as Djurgådens IF held on to win the match 5-2.
The win takes the Stockholms stolthet to third place with 21 points, four behind log leaders BK Hacken who have played a game less.
