Zambia Super League giants, ZESCO United have signed defensive midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu, the club has confirmed.
The Chipolopolo defensive has penned a two year deal with Team ya Ziko ending his stay at Zanaco.
“ZESCO United is delighted to announce the signing of Zambian international defensive midfielder, Kelvin Kapumbu on a 2-year deal subject to completing medicals.”
The 26 year old will join the nine-time Zambian Super League champions on July 1, 2022.
The arrival of Kapumbu takes the number of new players to five following the arrival Rodrick Kembo, Kezironi Kizito, Chipyoka Songa and Chipolopolo goalminder Cyril Mwenya Chibwe.
Kapumbu’s transfer to ZESCO United will see him unite with his brother Fackson Kapumbu.
ZESCO United yesterday shifted base from Ndola to Mongu for a 10-day pre-season camp.
