Electric derby comes alive … Eagles move up to second as Nkana return to winning ways

One of the biggest games in Zambian football comes alive this afternoon as ZESCO United welcomes Power Dynamos in the Electric derby.

Mumba Mumamba’s side is looking to push up to a fourth-place with a win this afternoon while Abayellow is looking to make it four wins in a row.

Power Dynamos’ skipper Godfrey Ngwenya has been in fine form with seven goals so far and will lead their hunt for a win against the defending Champions.

For the hosts, their midfield will play a key role in today’s match with Chanda Mukuka playing the role of the architect in the middle of the park.

ZESCO United currently sits in the sixth position with 18points having played 11 games whilst Power Dynamos occupy the 10th slot with 16 points having played 13 games, two games better than their opponents.

In Chambishi, Jacob Kaunda’s second half goal was enough to secure maximum points for Chambishi.
