Zambian winger Edward Chilufya’s switch to Danish side, FC Midtjylland is almost complete, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Chilufya is currently in Denmark to seal his move to the three time Danish Superliga Champions.
The Wolves are always in European Competition and are currently in the UEFA Conference League where they will face Greek side, PAOK Thessaloniki, or simply PAOK in the playoff round.
The club is expected to announce Chilufya’s arrival any day this week.
Djurgåden IF previously wanted 5.5 million euros for the 2017 U-20 AFCON winner who is their most prized possession but could be sold for less as his contract ends in December.
Edward Chilufya finished the previous season in the Allsvenskan with eight goals and three assists in 29 matches helping Djurgården to finish third in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
The Mphande Youth product has netted 17 times and contributed 9 assists in 80 matches for Djurgådens IF.
The move could be a pathway to the English Premier League as both clubs are owned by Matthew Benham, a Professional Gambler.
The European transfer window will close on midnight of 31st January.
