Edward Chilufya and Augustine Mulenga on target as Lubambo assists

Zambian players were in action over the weekend across the continent and beyond for their respective clubs.

Sweden-based Edward Chilufya and South African DSTV Premiership campaigner Augustine Mulenga were the only two on target.

In DR Congo, Tandi Mwape put in a 59-minute shift before being replaced by Kabaso Chongo in TP Mazembe’s 3-0 win over Lubumbashi Sport.

In Denmark, Lubambo Musonda set up two goals as AC Horsens thrashed Fremad Amager 6-1 in a Danish Superliga encounter.

In England, Striker Patson Daka was an unused substitute for Leicester City in their 1-1 draw was Leeds United in an English Premier League encounter.

At the American Express Stadium, Enock Mwepu was withdrawn at halftime for Alexis Marc Allister as Brighton and Hove Albion shared spoils with Newcastle United in a 1-1 draw.

In Russia, Midfielder Klings Kangwa put in a full shift while striker Evans Kangwa put in 76 minutes as Arsenal Tula were held to a goalless draw by FK Ufa at the stadion Arsenal.

In Israel, Lameck Banda put in a full shift for Maccabi Petah Tikva who succumbed to a 3-0 defeat against Beitar Jerusalem.

In Morocco, Clatous Chota Chama put in a full shift for RS Berkane who came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Difaâ Hassani El-Jadidi in Round 10.

In Scotland, Fashion Sakala Jnr put in a full shift as FC Rangers came from a goal down to beat Ross County FC 4-2.

In South Africa, At the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium, Gamphani Lungu put in a full shift for SuperSport United who handed TS Galaxy a 2-1 defeat.

At the FNB Stadium, Lazarus Kambole was an unused substitute as Kaizer Chiefs edged Orlando Pirates in the famous, Soweto derby to win the bragging rights.

At the Danie Craven Stadium, It up as another full shift for Nathan Sinkala for Stellenbosch in their goalless draw with Golden Arrows.

At the Chatsworth Stadium, Chipolopolo Boys’ first-choice goalkeeper Cyril Mwenya Chibwe was an unused substitute for Baroka FC in their 1-1 draw with Royal AM.

At the Volkswagen Dobsonville Stadium, Toaster Nsabata put in a full shift and kept a clean sheet at Sekhukhune FC edged Swallows 1-0.

Mwape Musonda and Austin Muwowo were not part of the matchday squad.

At the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Mamelodi Sundowns cruised to a 4-0 win over Marumo Gallants inspired by Peter Shalulile who netted a brace and assisted Temba Zwane for the opener.

2012 AFCON winner Kennedy Mweene was left out of the matchday squad.

At the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Winger Augustine Mulenga came off the bench to score a brace as Amazulu beat Cape Town City 2-0.

Emmanuel Banda was not involved in the action.
