1. CAF 2012 African Cup of Nations winner Evans Kangwa owns Shamuel FC, the club he runs with his wife Vivian.
The two also own a Nursing School in Lusaka.
2. Former Zambia Under-17 captain Miguel Changa Chaiwa is one of budding teenagers in the country.
The teenage centre back who can also play as a holding midfielder signed for Shamuel in 2018. He was also been tracked by Athletico Lusaka.
3. Evans and Klings Kangwa are not brothers, they just share the same surname and play for the same club in Russia…Arsenal Tula.
Actually they are both products of Happy Hearts, another third tier side renowned from grooming players.

4. After seeing Evans’ Shamuel being a successful story, Klings also decided to set up Kings Academy in Lusaka’s Kanyama township.
5. It’s not just Miguel Changa Chaiwa in camp, there are a whole host youngsters in the Zambia Under-17 camp from Shamuel and Kings Academy who are competing for places with the other boys from Athletico Lusaka and Kafue Celtic.
6. Miguel’s father is a former player and featured for the likes of Roan United, Power Dynamos and Green Buffaloes.
7. In terms of youth development, it used to be Chiparamba and Edusport then Kitwe’s Afrisport.Kafue Celtic and Lusaka Youth Soccer Academy took over the mantle and have now being joined by the likes of Shamuel, Athletico and Kings Academy.
