Eagles stun Arrows as Power record narrow victory over Wanderers

Power Dynamos beat Mufulira Wanderers to extend their lead at the summit of the MTN Super League.

Malawian foward Chifundo Mphasi’s goal was enough to propel Power Dynamos to victory at Shinde Stadium.

Power Dynamos moved to 35 points, and extended their lead to 4 points over second placed Red Arrows.

Osward Mutapa’s men will now turn their attention to CAF Champions League with a tie against Kaizer Chiefs this week.

In Choma, Amity Shamende scored a late goal to earn Green Eagles a 1-0 victory over Red Arrows.

This was Arrows’ second defeat of the campaign.

The airmen are on 31 points with 2 games in hand over leaders Power Dynamos
