Zambian Super League side Chambishi have appointed veteran coach Dan Kabwe on an interim basis.
And the relegation-threatened side have sacked Wellington Mujembe with five games to go.
This follows a string of poor results. Chambishi have lost the last five games and have one win in 2023.
“Chambishi football club have gone on mutual separation with Coach Willington Mujembe wished him success,” Chambishi wrote on their social media platforms
“Danny Kabwe will be the interim coach for the next five games.”
Chambishi are currently second with 28 points from 29 games.
Remaining games for Chambishi is a trip to ZESCO United and Kabwe Warriors while they will host Kansanshi Dynamos, NAPSA Stars and Buildcon.
