Copper Queens shift base to Casablanca

The Zambia national Women’s football team has returned to Casablanca ahead of the Wednesday’s mouthwatering quarter final tie against Senegal.

The Grace Chanda captained side left Rabat on Monday afternoon and returned to their base in Casablanca.

After topping Group B with 7 points, the Copper Queens booked a date with the West Africans power houses on Wednesday.

Zambia recorded wins over Tunisia and Togo on match day 2 and 3.

In the opening group match, Bruce Mwape’s ladies were held by Cameroon.

A win over Senegal on Wednesday night will see the team earn FAZ a whopping $225, 000 prize.

In terms of bonuses for the ladies, each player will be guaranteed $10, 000.
