Copper Bullets set to leave for Turkey this afternoon

The Zambia national team will leave for Turkey this afternoon ahead of Friday’s international friendly match against Congo Brazzaville.

The flight is expected to depart from the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 15:00hrs.

The Copper Bullets are expected to arrive in Antalya tonight in readiness for the two international friendly matches set up for this FIFA window.

Fifteen Chipolopolo Boys players are in camp currently at Golden Peacock Hotel namely Tandi Mwape Evans Kangwa, Kings Kangwa, Gamphani Lungu, Toaster Nsabata, Roderick Kabwe , Clatous Chama, Charles Kalumba, Prince Mumba, Lawrence Mulenga, Miguel Chaiwa, Prosper Chiluya, Benedict Chepeshi, Kelvin Kampamba and Dominic Chanda.

Israeli based Lameck Banda and USA based defender Aime Mabika have already arrived in Antalya, Turkey.

The remaining European based players will fly direct to Turkey.

Chipolopolo Boys coach Aljosa Asanovic is using the FIFA window to prepare for the June round of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
