The Zambia National Team has left for Harare, Zimbabwe ahead of tomorrow’s clash against the Warriors in a dead rubber 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matchday six encounter.
Zambia plays Zimbabwe on Monday (tomorrow) in a Group H formality Africa Cup of Nations tie.
The team left aboard Emirates Airlines at 16:00 hours.
On Thursday, Zambia came from two goals down to record a 3-all draw with goals from Clatous Chama and a Patson Daka brace for Zambia in a thrilling encounter at National Heroes Stadium that sealed their fate of missing out on a third consecutive AFCON tournament.
Algeria and Zimbabwe have qualified from Group H with the North Africans raking unassailable 11 points while the Warriors have eight.
Zambia will use the match as preparation for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where the Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic will face Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania, and Tunisia in Group B.
