  1. It’s not over not until God say so….but on the line up issue,is always gud the only problem is communication when in the ground.

  2. Lets all get our calculators and keep our fingers crossed. I think the young man Spencer Sautu should have been give a chance to partner Kondwani Mtonga to have two defensive midfielders. Anyway lets wait and see….its Chipolopolo all the way.

  3. Good line up this means Given wl play in th advanced role (10) in my opinion I wud hv loved a natural no 9 mayb Ronald or Patrick then Evans play in number 10 bt this will do,I kn wl score,th only issue wl be defendn so wen we r leading ten mins into 2nd half, withdraw Given push in sautu or malama we go defensive….

  4. ThIs coach and his team are a disgrace to our beloved nation. This the time they were supposed to make us proud looking at our political situation in the country but ukuyachitafye ifyamadongo.

    • Kikikikiki, nomba bakalamba at least lets give them support, I know we are qualifying though my prediction has been wrong from the second game.

      • That’s the way to go brotherman, the game against Tunisia has left me with wounds , 8 chances and we failed to use them only managed to utilize one. This should be a must win, I think the coach is slow in reacting to subs, in this match I would love to encourage the coach make changes after an hour mark of play, all in all the team is the strongest though Mbola is a suspect .

  5. some more bush meat 4 the blue sharks…zambia keeps hurting us…its jst nt fair.may be we didnt deserve 2 be at afcon…

  6. The line up looks good, let’s cross our hearts that we beat Equatorial Guinea this evening. Otherwise its just that our suggestions always land on depth ears because some people ie (Janza and Kalu) they think they know football that no one can advise them in any way.

Anyway from my own observation over these two games played so far, Tunisia and Congo DR. I still see the team lacking in the midfield. Recently I said on this blog that as long as we have not yet found a ball to ball (ie number 8) midfield the position that Isaac Chansa used to play we will always find it difficult to win games. The ball to ball midfield dedicates play because he links the defence with the attack, he controls the temple of the match if you are leading or down.

From the two games played including the qualifiers I am not comfortable with Janza using Given Singulima as a number 8 which I have always objected to over and over. Singulima is a striker naturally so he is used attacking and scoring, using him in this position is out playing him. He can do well in the number 10 position which links the midfield and the strikers not in the number 8 position as evidenced during our last two games were he seems to fed off as the game goes on.

With the coming of Chisamba Lungu in the starting line up I don’t know if the coach is going to deploy him in the same said position or on the wings as he has always played but again Lubambo Musonda for me seems to be comfortably good on the right wing with Kalaba on the opposite. And am more comfortable playing Chisamba on the wings because he looses the ball a lot to be played at the midfield which can risk your team in case of a counter attack as a result.

So from what we have I would be happy if Janza thinks playing Chisamba on one of the wings and Lubambo on the other wing with Kalaba as a number 10 with Singulima continuing on his new low number 8 and Kangwa as a striker.

Maybe we might have a chance to win and qualify to the quarter finals otherwise I’ve never had hope with this Janza as coach

  7. Its funny how everyone thinks this is going to be a cupcake. We need to win which is a questions mark, then we need Tunisia to tie or beat DRC which DRC will throw in everything on the weak Tunisian side that our pathetic strikers failed to punish.”They will progress if Tunisia beat or draw with DR Congo. But should DR Congo win, both Zambia and Tunisia would be on four points. Tunisia would progress on their head-to-head record”

  8. The chipos ecstasy after scoring a first goal I believe can be costly. Therefore, excessive celebrations should be avoided in this game and they should concentrate until the final whistle. Good luck!
