Big Fighton Simukonda was my team mate in the KK eleven. He was as honest as they come. Disciplined, sincere and dedicated to football. A humble man as a player and coach. Always wanted the best for his team. He gave a lot of chances to especially young players because it was his nature to be patient. Big Figh is a big loss to Zambian football . May his soul rest in eternal peace

In 2009 he became the first coach to lead a Zambian Club (Zesco United ) to the CAF champions league group stage.
He will surely be missed for his contribution to football. May his Soul Rest in Peace.
