Zambia stepped up preparations for Friday’s crucial 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria with an intensive training session in Tizi Ouzou on Tuesday.
Coach George Lwandamina put the Chipolopolo Boys through their paces as they continued to fine-tune their preparations for the Group I encounter against the Desert Foxes.
Zambia are in Group I alongside Algeria, Togo and Burundi, with the qualifying campaign offering a route to the 2027 AFCON finals in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The Chipolopolo will face Algeria at the Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium on Friday, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 CAT.
Lwandamina’s side will return to Zambia immediately after the match before turning their attention to their second Group I fixture against Togo on 29 September.
The home match against Togo will be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
