Doesn’t make any difference Kamanga must go.Our football has gone to the dogs
This team is useless and we shouldn’t expect a win against a more organized Zimbabwe side..poor selection and poor tactics
Zamfoot legend, good to hear from you…
Yes Zambia the game has gone down drastically. Why FAZ
This a shocker, thats why they say bola ni 90 minutes.
I left watching immediately Malawi scored the penalty.
Zamfoot legend. good to hear from you
Very poor n useless team no coordination Chama is finished goalkeeper mapulanga
GO BA NEIGHBOUR WIN OR LOSE NO PROBLEM
Zimbabwe give this useless team 5-0 zimbabwe will teach you Football lessons
The defence was lacking with Chama not showing leadership despite having played in the team long. Also Sakala in midfield is too slow and not creative
Guyz these boys are playing together for the first time . Let the coaches do their job. One thing i like about the boys they do have fighting spirit.. Our objective is not to win the tournament. They are using cosafa as their preparation for Chan. Lets not give the boys and the technical crew so much pressure. Remember Zimbabwe they have a full strength team. But it won’t be an easy game for them.
If these are the chaps going to CHAN then we are done
Malawi played well and would have won had their keeper not gifted the goal. Still to come back from 2 nil and win show character especial for a new coda and team playing together for the first time.
With Sven it would have been a return flight.
Unfortunately Billiat always scores against us and unless there is a marked improvement it will be the same story vs Zim.
Good luck for semi.
Another Zamfoot legend.
We need musakanya, muwowo and kambole in the first eleven and encourage our goalkeeper to have confidence but if there is someone better than chama we need a change at a central back because chama is a problem but all the best guys
Apologies – should be “new coach” (not coda )
It was a frustrating game to watch. The boys have fighting spirit but it seems to me that every other team has improved tremendously because of cosafa. We are the only one’s in the region who are stuck playing football from ten years ago.
Take our midfielders as an example, the modern way of playing is first to control the ball before you make a pass. But our players do not bother to trap the ball instead preferring to pass on the first touch. It’s more a self serving action. They don’t want to risk losing the ball, opting to pass it to somebody else. That way, when the ball is lost the player can always claim that he had passed and his teammate is the one who was dispossessed. I’ve seen this type of play in the league where players make suicide passes knowing full well the player given the ball will lose it to the opposition.
I don’t think the coach is the problem, the problem is that we don’t train players. They train themselves. The only thing clubs do is keep the players fit. It’s up to each player to improve his technique. In most cases the players fail.
I think we shouldnt be too harsh on the team. This is a team of local players with some of them tasting international football for the first time. The real bullets are going to Morocco, but to be honest with you, i like the fighting spirit. They never gave up and continued with the same pace and fight. I always thought we had the right attitude to score – and we did. Was impressed with Muwowo.
Are the real bullets not the same team that failed to qualify for AfCon? You mention them as if they are a real ‘deal’ when they are just a ‘pedestrian’ team.
Congratulations to Zambia. for a hard fought journey, next hurdle Zimbabwe.
Win or lose we still have one more game to play. which is all good for exposure.
Our team was playing together for the first time in their lives under a new coach. Malawi had already played 4 games with the same team, so their coordination, telepathy, nerves and all were already well-settled compared to our boys.
Keep fighting, a Zambian never gives up.
I love my country. I vowed to support Chipolopolo in the darkest moments years ago. BUT I disagree with FAZ and Kamanga completely. What is he going to say at CAF? That Zambia failed to be champs at COSAFA u17, u20, CHAN, failed to qualify 2 x under his rein?
Struggling at COSAFA senior in the first game against Malawi? Some pride is self destructing!!!
Koomboni football. Coaches can’t drill a proper defence. Players all ball watching and focussing on the ball and not on the man without the ball!!!
Watch Zimbabwe tear us apart.
The ball is round and can go either way. Bola Nima goals, not possession. Our team is very unpredictable and can sometimes just beat up any obstacle in their way!
Go mother Zambia, goaaa!
watching zesco play Nkana is better off than kamanga boyz
Is this game going to be televised on Supersport if so which channel?
Those of us who watched the zambia-malawi game to the end would agree that our guys have a good fighting spirit and resilience.
You can criticise our team as much as you can but we will still be Zambia and our hope oneday is to form that formidable and tactically disciplined team that will shock the world.
