The Zambia national team (Chipolopolo)Â has regrouped ahead of the September 2 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier formality match against Kenya.
The Chipolopolo have set camp in Ndola were 28 players have been called to be drilled by stand-in coach George Lwandamina who is also Zesco United coach.
Lwandamina has included less familiar faces to the team in camp in Zanaco skipper Ziyo Tembo, Justin Shonga of Nkwazi who has been good in front of goal.
Striker Josephat Kasusu from Kabwe Warriors has returned to the team after he previously made the provisional squad under Herve Renard as well as Green Buffaloes defender Mweene Mumbi who has been part of the junior teams.
There is also a place for Zesco United full back Simon Silwimba who has wrestled back his place at the club from young Shemmy Mayembe.
Zambia were eliminated from the qualifiers after losing to Guinea Bissau who have an unassailable lead.
The Chipolopolo will be using the match to shape up for the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifiers which kickoff in October.
Only Christopher Munthali did not train with the team on Monday after he was excused to attend his brothers funeral.
The team will break camp on Friday.
