Zambia host Niger in the final match of the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this afternoon.
Kickoff 15h00
While Zambia will be playing for pride, Niger still has a shout at the World Cup.
Victory for the West Africans will see them move to 15 points and be in contention as one of the four second placed countries for the continental playoff.
Zambia coach Avram Grant is expected to name unchanged side from the side which beat Tanzania on Wednesday.
Lawrence Mulenga will start in goal with Gift Mphande, Kabaso Chongo, Benson Sakala and Lubambo Musonda in defence.
Kings Kangwa and Kelvin Kapumbu are guaranteed starters while Obinno Chisala will be hoping Grant picks him ahead Emmanuel Banda.
Kelvin Kampamba and Lameck Banda will battle it out for one of the front three positions.
Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka will lead the line but Grant might spin a surprise by opting for Kennedy Musonda for the latter.
