The Zambia national women’s team will take a slender lead into the second leg of the Rio Olympic qualifiers after they beat Zimbabwe 2 – 1 in a game played at Nkoloma Stadium.
Zambia led 2 – 0 with goals from Hellen Mubanga and Barbara Banda (in picture) whose sex was disputed by Zimbabwe before match kick-off.
Zimbabwe however scored an important away goal later to give them hope going into the second leg on 31st May.
The winner over two legs between Zambia and Zimbabwe will progress to the third round.
Two winning teams from the fourth round will qualify to the 2016 Summer Olympics to be hosted in Rio de Jenairo

@Nostra: this ‘lady” could be a woman. Some of these young girls are “brestless” & may have boyish faces. That is from the creato. Only a test may be needed in certain instances. We should tread cautiously & not subject these young ladies to torture becos of their physical appearance. How long has this young lady been playing for the team that this ugly comment is being made at this time of her career? Let us respectfully treat the girls with the dignity they deserve. These comments usually show their heads after the girls have put up a good performance. I am not saying we should not delve into such matters but that we should not easily fall prey to these unproven allegations becos of physical appearances .

She played at the World Cup in Cost Rica against Italy no allegations of her being a boy were brought up,so pathetic Zim Zim.
