Green Buffaloes came from behind to beat Mufulira Wanderers 2 – 1 at home in a week 10 match played at Woodlands Stadium.
Mighty went ahead after Moses Lolozi scored from the spot but Buffaloes pressured the visitors from that point and managed to pull one back from a deflected Adrian Chama free kick which came off Progress Kalenga.
Mighty curved in again under pressure this time Lolozi scoring in his own net after he turned in a hard cross into his own net.
The win moves Buffaloes up to third on the log.
In the other game on the day, Nakambala picked their first win of the season after they beat fellow strugglers Napsa Stars 1 – 0. Junior Zulu scored a late winner for the Mazabuka based team but the win was not enough to move them off the bottom of the log.
