The Zambia Men’s National Team has left for South Africa for an international camp prior to the June 17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast billed for Ndola.
Avram Grant and his squad will set up base in Johannesburg for six days before jetting into Ndola on June 12th the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Twenty one players left aboard South African Airways with the rest joining directly in Johannesburg.
FC Rangers hitman Fashion Sakala Jnr, Red Star Belgrade midfield ace Klings Kangwa, Skipper Lubambo Musonda, Gamphani Lungu, Tandi Mwape and Toaster Nsabata are among the players who left with the team.
Others are Emmanuel Banda, Victor Chabu, Pride Mwansa, Lawrence Mulenga, Dominic Chanda, Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba and Kelvin Kapumbu.
Serie A star Lameck Banda, Golden Mafwenta and Spain based Francisco Mwepu will lead the contingent that will join the team in Johannesburg.
Zambia will host Ivory Coast on June 17 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in a Group H match.
The Chipolopolo have nine points, one behind leaders Ivory Coast who have already qualified by virtue of being hosts.
Zambia need a point from the remaining two matches to clinch their ticket for the AFCON.
