Cote d’Ivoire to name squad to face Zambia tomorrow is

Cote d’Ivoire coach Jean-Loius Gasset will announce his squad for this month’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia on Wednesday.

The press briefing will be held at Abidjan’s Ruddison Blu Hotel at 17:30.

The French man is expected to name a star studded side.

Captain Serge Aurier, Winfred Zaha, Eric Baily and Sebastian Haller expected to board a plane to Ndola.

Zambia will host the West Africans at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on June 17, 2023.

Meanwhile 21 players including Fashion Sakala and Lubambo Musonda left Lusaka for Johannesburg ahead of the Chipolopolo Boys’ camp.

The Chipolopolo will fly to Ndola on June 13.

Unbeaten Ivory Coast lead the group on 10 points.

Zambia and Comoros are on 9 and 3 points respectively.

Lesotho are bottom of the group with 2 matches to be played.
