Kitwe United came from a behind to beat rivals Nkana in this year’s original Kitwe Derby in a relagation scrap match to pick up their first win of the season.
A bizarre injury time own goal from Nkana’s Zimbabwean goalkeeper Talbert Shumba and a Clive Biyeta goal gave Kitwe United a 2-1 victory over their decorated neighbours.
Congolese winger Soutra Tshimenga gave Kalampa the lead but Kelvin Kaindu’s men failed to draw inspiration from their weekend win over Tanzanian side Namungo in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Both Chingalika and Kalampa are still in the drop zone.
Lumwana Radiants and 1980 league winners Green Buffaloes are also in the bottom four.
The four clubs, concidently are sponsored by betting company Betway.
