Top Zambian female referee Diana Chikotesha has been appointed by FIFA to officiate at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Chikotesha is among 26 assistant referees from CAF appointed and confirmed as match officials for the tournament that will run from 10-28 August, 2022.
Ghana and Nigeria will be representing Africa at the 16-Team Tournament.
Chikotesha is currently in France where is she among officials at the 48th edition of the Maurice Revello Tournament.
The FIFA approved tournament is named after late founder Maurice Revello, and predominantly features national teams that file junior players from Under 17 to Under 23.
