Chambeshi makes two changes as he names his starting XI

Zambia national team head coach Beston Chambeshi has made two changes to the team that beat Mauritania 2-1 on Friday in a Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Brian Mwila and NAPSA Stars on loan at ZESCO United midfielder Dickson Chapa have come in to take the places of Leicester City striker Patson Daka and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Enock Mwepu for this afternoon Clash against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

Rodrick Kabwe has been  handed the armband in the absence of Enock Mwepu while Clatous Chota Chama starts from the bench.

South Africa-based Cyril Mwenya Chibwe maintains his place in goal with Rodrick Kabwe, Solomon Sakala, Dominic Chanda, and Benedict Chepeshi making up the back four.

Dickson Chapa will partner with Boyd Musonda and Prince Mumba in the middle of the park. Musonda and Chapa will be tasked with protecting the back four while Mumba is expected to orchestrate the team’s attacks from the middle of the park.

Edward Chilufya and Lubambo Musonda start in the wings and will support the attack with their wide play. The duo’s pace is expected to cause problems for the Tunisian defense.

Upfront Brian Mwila is expected to step into the shoes left vacant by Patson Daka and lead the attack.

Mwila’s most memorable national team outing was against another North African side, Algeria where he netted twice in the 3-1 home win at Heroes Stadium, debutant Enock Mwepu got the other goal.

The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) will televise the match with kick-off at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium set for 15:00hrs.
