About eight Kafue Celtic players have traveled to Austria for the Next Generation Trophy 2025 tournament in Salzburg, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
The Lusaka based outfit, regarded as one of the best Academies in the land, has consistently sent players to Austria for this tournament to play under the umbrella of Malian club, Yeleen Olympique.
The eight include Charles Sitali a winger who hails from Mpika, highly rated midfielder Harrison Wina and defender Peter Kakoma both originally from Mongu, together with Shadreck Muhango goalkeeper from Kabwe, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

In 2023 it was the now Zambia U17 National team captain and World Cup bound left back Jonathan Kalimina and Orton Phiri who made the trip to Salzburg.
In 2022 Celtic trio of Vincent Mutondo, Noah Chikote and Litia Litia were part of the Yeleen team that went all the way and won the Next-Generation Tournament.
This tournament has been a launch pad for many careers with the likes of Manchester City star Phil Foden, Ferran Torres of Barcelona, Dominik Szoboszlai of Liverpool, Josko Gvardiol and Niclas FĂ¼llkrug as just some of the young talents who have shone in the Next Generation Trophy over the years.Â
Youngsters at the tournament have gone on to win Euros, the UEFA Champions League, Premier League and become top goalscorers.
A number of top clubs from around the world are expected to take part in the tournament including the hosts Redbull Salzburg, and New York Redbull.
The 16th edition of the Next Generation Trophy will be held from August 14-16.
