Former Zesco United striker Jesse Were caught up with members of his former club who are on CHAN duty in Nairobi on Tuesday.
The lanky Kenyan started his Zambian odyssey in the 2015/16 season and wound up his tour of duty in 2024.
He briefly broke his Zesco sojourn with a stint at Kansanshi Dynamos in 2022.

Were is back in his homeland playing for Kenya Police Football Club.
Zambia is in Group A alongside Kenya, DR Congo, Angola and Morocco.
The Chipolopolo’s opening game is on Thursday against DR Congo at Nyayo Stadium.
