Kafue Celtic have announced that four of their players will compete in the Next Generation Trophy 2024 in Salzburg, Austria.
The four players are Ntasilwe Malupande, Caleb Musonda, Chrispin Katoba, and Simon Chilando.
The foursome left for West Africa on Monday and were accompanied by coach Maketo.
“Kafue Celtic Football Club is excited to announce that U16 players Ntasilwe Malupande, Caleb Musonda, Chrispin Katoba, and Simon Chilando, led by Coach Maketo, will compete in the Next Generation Trophy 2024 in Salzburg, Austria.”
They will first train with Yeleen Olympique in Mali before heading to Austria for the tournament, which starts on 17th August.
Afterward, they will participate in a training program with FK Bodo Glimt in Norway as part of an exchange program between the clubs, and compete in the Bødo Youth Cup from 30th August to 1st September, highlighting Kafue Celtic FC’s commitment to developing young talent and building global football connections.
