CAF Champions League: Zesco take first half lead

Zesco United coach George Lwandamina named a very conservative line-up in his team’s CAF Champions League opener against Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland.

Lwandamina has dropped Kondwani Mtonga into defence, the position the lanky player plays for the national team. Kondwani who spent last season on loan in India played the whole season in midfield.

In midfield, Lwandamina has named two defensive midfielders, Mishaeck Chaila and Justine Zulu though he has very attacking midfielders to support striker Jackson Mwanza in Clatous, John Chingandu and Winstone Kalengo.

Zesco currently lead with a goal scored by Justine Zulu.
