 All roads in Lusaka will tomorrow lead to Woodlands stadium where Mufulira Wanderers and Nkana FC will play Napsa Stars and Green Buffaloes respectively.
Mufulira Wanderers will fancy their chances against a Napsa side which is in relegation waters and has only won once in five games.
In-form Green Buffaloes will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to nine games when they host Nkana who will also be looking to build on their impressive 4 – 1 win over Lusaka Dynamos. Buffaloes form in the last five games is only comparable to that of Zesco United.
Champions Zesco keep grinding out results as they march towards retaining the title and will be favorites to get maximum points against Choma based Green Eagles.
The title chasing duo of Zanaco and Power Dynamos have relatively easy fixtures against relegation threatened Konkola Blades and bottom placed National Assembly.
And the Football Association of Zambia FAZ has announced fixture changes for the month of October.
A media statement from FAZ has stated that the changes are due to a congestion on the international calendar.
The affected fixtures are for weeks 27 and 28 which will now be played on October 7 and October 28 respectively.
Week 27 fixtures were scheduled for October 10 but have been rescheduled because the Barclays Cup semi-finals and the international friendly match against Egypt will take place during that weekend.
Week 28 matches have been rescheduled because they were initiallly scheduled for October 24 which is Independence Day and a public holiday in Zambia.
The Barclays Cup semi-finals were initially scheduled to take place on October 17 but will now be played a week earlier. Zambia hosts Mozambique in a 2016 African Nations Championship qualification match on October 17.
All other fixtures remain unchanged
