Bring on Kalampa again!!! As Chembo joins Buildcon

Former Zesco United interim coach Tenant Chembo has joined MTN Super League side Buildcon.

Chembo resigned from Zesco on Sunday night immediately after leading Zega to a 1-0 over Nkana.

Coincidently, his first match in charge of Buildcon will be against Nkana on Wednesday in a rescheduled fixture.

Chembo has faced Nkana twice already this season.

While he won the league last year and guided Zesco United to the CAF Champions League group stage, he was not offered the top job as the club opted for the veteran George Lwandamina.

Lwandamina could be unveiled on Tuesday.

Chembo will be the first Zambian coach at Buildcon.

The ‘Team Kopala’ are rock bottom with no points after three matches.

They have already lost to National Assembly and Lumwana Radiants as well as Zesco United.

  1. Mr discipline, Buildcon is not a useless club. Its in fact one of the most promising clubs in the league judging by their commitment in investing in the team.
They brought in a number of players so they will need to find right combinations. Zanaco is facing a similar fate.
Give them time they will be a force to recon with.

  2. ZESCO will regret for letting chembo go,I thought Chi lwandamina left ZESCO unceremoniously when he went to tz but they still go back to him.chicken will again leave this useless club for big spenders watch this space…
