Bilton Musonda has been appointed as the new Lumwana Radiants head coach as earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew.
The club took to social media to confirm the return of Musonda to North Western Province seven months after his last stint.
Musonda will be assisted by Allan Kamwanga.
“We are pleased to announce the return of Bilton Musonda as Head Coach of the Uranium boys.
He will be assisted by Allan Kamwanga on a seasonal deal. We can Only wish them all the best as they strive to take the team back to its glory days!”
Musonda takes over from Lameck Banda who resigned recently to join Super League side Prison Leopards.
The former Green Buffaloes coach resigned from the post in April after two years in charge of the club.
For his last stint, Musonda joined Lumwana Radiants in April 2021, After leaving Green Buffaloes , he helped the squad win the national Division One League in the 2021/22 season.
At Lumwana he will be tasked with winning promotion back to the MTN Super League.
Lumwana Radiants are currently second on the FAZ National Division One League table with 24 points after 13 games, five adrift of log leaders, Nchanga Rangers.
