MTN Super League side Lumwana Radiants’ head coach Bilton Musonda has left the Kalumbila based side.
Musonda handed in his resignation letter on Monday morning according to ZamFoot Crew sources close to the club.
“Yes, he has handed in a resignation letter which has been accepted and has since left the club,” a source said.
“He cited lack of proper support from the Executive Committee as part of the reason for his departure.”
Musonda joined Lumwana Radiants in April 2021 and was at the helm when they won the National Division One crown last season and subsequently promotion to the Super League.
Lumwana Radiants are in the relegation zone with 31 points, having won 8 games, drawn 10 and lost 13.
The club have only managed one win in their last 12 games. Next up for them is Prison Leopards at home.
