Zambia Under-17 coach Ian Bakala believes CAF U17 African Cup of Nations Group B tie against South Africa will be crucial.
Wednesday’s match between Zambia and South Africa promises to be a explosive.
South Africa will be looking to revenge the two defeats they suffered last year against the Junior Chipolopolo.
“Tomorrow’s match will be a crucial game. A very difficult game,” Bakala said
“We have played South Africa twice and beaten them twice within this period of five to six months,” a confident Bakala added.
Zambia beat South Africa 1-0 at Cosafa U17 Championship in Malawi.
Bakala, a veteran of two African Cup of Nations during his days with the Chipolopolo boys also cautioned his boys to take their opponents seriously.
“I think we are expecting a tough game because even them will come at us.
“We have planned well going into this game. I think we are going to do much better than the previous game,” he said
Zambia and South Africa lost to Nigeria and Morocco in the first matches respectively.
