Former Zambia U17 National team coach Ian Bakala has been appointed assistant coach for Caps United days after he was relieved of his duties as head coach.
Bakala was head coach Makepekepe until three days ago, a club he joined in March and helped them to survive relegation.
Bakala will assist former Ngezi Platinum boss Takesure Chiragwi who has been appointed as head coach.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that this is the set up CAPS United originally at mid-season when they appointed Bakala as head coach, but Ngezi Platinum could not let their coach go.
After the incident, Chiragwi also stepped down as Zimbabwe Warriors assistant coach.
Tinashe Nengomasha is set to join the club as the new team manager, Cloudious Gunduza is goalkeeper coach. The club has also employed two Data & Performance Analysts (from Germany and Tanzania) John Vera and Gary Machakata.
Meanwhile Bakala has coached Lusaka Dynamos, Forest Rangers and Nkana.
The former Chipolopolo midfielder featured for Caps United in 2004 and spent a season at the Harare based side.
At the official unveiling, CAPS United also revealed some of their new signings, which include Nyasha Gurende, Talent Chamboko, Richard Hachiro, Obriel Chirinda goalkeeper Wallace Magalane.
