Zambian Champions, Red Arrows have been knocked out of the CAF Champions League following their 1-1 draw with Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto on Sunday.
Chisi Mbewe’s men went into the match needing a result after a 1-0 defeat in Lusaka in the first leg.
Last season’s top goalscorer Ricky Banda put the Airmen in the lead just seven minutes into the match with a powerful low shot inside the box.
The hosts drew level eight minutes later with a well worked header to seal their passage to the next round.
The result means Agosto are through to the next round of the 2022 CAF Champions League at the expense of the Zambian champions via a 2-1 aggregate score.
Agosto will face Tanzanian side Simba SC in the next round.
