Zambia Super League side, Kabwe Warriors have confirmed that star forward Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba has extended his stay at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium after he penned a new deal.
Mwachiaba who was rumored to have joined Lusaka-based, Elite Lusaka Dynamos has since penned a three-year deal. Mwachiaba first joined the Magnificent People’s team back in 2018 and has become a vital member of their set up.

Mwachiaba is expected to start this afternoon when Warriors square off with Prison Leopards in a local derby at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.
Meanwhile, Warriors have also signed striker Martin Kayuwa from Power Dynamos on a two-year deal to boost their striking options as they look to maintain their top-six status up to midway of the season and qualify for ABSA Cup.
Kayuwa who is a graduate of the Power Dynamos youth set up has penned a two-year deal.

The Levy Chabala coached side also snapped up former Napsa Stars defender Smart Banda who has signed a two-year deal.
Banda has penned a two-year deal. He was one of the players released by NAPSA Stars at the start of this month.
