Adrian Chama off to Supersport United

Chipolopolo defender Adrian Chama is in South Africa trying to clinch a deal with South African PSL side Supersport United.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Chama has been allowed permission to be away from the Chipolopolo training camp as he tries out with Supersport in South Africa.

The 27 year old is fast backing Zambia’s number one central defender after assured performances at national team level in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and at the CHAN tournament.

Chama has also shown consistency at club level and was instrumental in helping the Futsal national team qualify to the 2016 South Africa Nations Cup tournament.

He has become the bedrock of the Chipolopolo defence since being introduced back in the team by George Lwandamina and is expected to start in next month’s crucial qualifier against Guinea Bissau.

He was introduced at the national team level by Herve Renard and played when Zambia lost 4 – 3 to Japan on June 2014.

The 27 year old Green Buffaloes central defender last season scored 3 goals for the Army team and has so far scored one this year in the Charity Shield.
