Nkana stars Bahn and Ocran make Palata mobile in a humble donation

No matter how tough you think your life is, there’s always someone who has to face challenges that are even tougher than yours.

And in many ways than we think these challenges vary from person to person. Not only basic things like making money, getting food, or having a place to rest at night, but also the possibility of putting a smile on someone .

That’s what Sharon Palata got over the weekend as Adam Banh and Richard Ocran visited to donate a wheel chair and some food stuffs worth in excess of K3000.

If these two Nkana players thought it was an easy thing , the family of Sharon is not looking at it that way.
Giving back is among the most important and valuable things any person privileged can do, we are used to players complaining of unpaid moneys and Adama Banh and Ocran have just taught us something different.

What is so touching is the reluctance by these two players to talk about this which tells us its from their hearts.

I did talk to Banh and he attests that the biggest and sole reward is the realization that you’ve made a significant change in someone’s life. And if not “significant” then a positive change nevertheless.

Hearts off Banh and Ocran

Sharon Palata couldn’t hide her joy and she thanked the two football players for their thoughtfulness. She is now mobile in her small ways, thanks to Ocran and Banh.

What an example to most of the people around and what is so touching is the fact that these are foreign players and are moved to help a Zambian who has not had a wheel chair for three years as reported by Ndinawe Simpelwa of Times of Zambia.

As we enter into the Independence week, Sharon has been offered her Independence in a way and without a doubt , Banh and Ocran even against their will must be appreciated with this humble gesture.
