National League side Kansanshi Dynamos dumped 2015 winners Green Buffaloes out of the 2025 ABSA Cup on Saturday.
The Mabanga Boys handed Masauso Tembo’s side a serious beating, 4-1 to secure passage to the quarter finals on their quest to a K1 Million prize money.
Dalitso Lungu gave Kansanshi the lead in the 11th minute but his goal was cancelled by Lyson Banda ten minutes later.
But Kansanshi Dynamos were back in front in the 31st minute, After Mathews Mwale rose high to nod in a brilliant cross from Tranquilin Mwepu.
In the second stanza Kansanshi Dynamos needed only five minutes to double the lead Brighton Kabumba found the back of the net with a composed finish after a brilliant cross from Mike Zizo.
Fifteen minutes before time former ZESCO United midfielder Kizito Kezeron struck with power and precision after a perfect pass from Brighton Kabumba to seal the emphatic win for Zeddy Saileti’s men.
Meanwhile Konkola Blades have eased past Solwezi Academy 2-0 with goals from Progress Mukuka and Mike Nyangu.
