A win and a clean sheet on her debut excites Hazel Nali

Zambia Women’s National Team goalkeeper Hazel Natasha Nali made her debut for her new club Hapoel Be’er Sheva who wallopped Maccabi Be’er Sheva 8-0 last night in the Israeli Womens Cup round of 16 encounter.

Nali who joined the Israeli based side a week ago from Green Buffaloes Women Football Club on a 2-year contract had a great performance and kept an excellent clean sheet to start her life in the Holy Land on a high note.

Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew from her base in Beersheva, Nali said the experience was great and she is so excited to keep a clean sheet in her debut match as that is also part of the targets she has set on her new challenge.

“It is the first game, the experience was great. I don’t know everyone’s name yet but I managed to communicate because Football is quickly adaptive and am slowly getting to know more things,” Nali told the ZamFoot Crew.

“It feels good keeping a clean sheet in the first game, that’s why am here. Keeping clean sheets is amongst the targets have set up,” the ever-smiling Nali added.

Nali became the second Zambian player after Mary Mwakapila who is away in Chile with the National Team to join Hapoel Be’er Sheva a club that competes in the top tier of the Israeli Women’s football
