Nchanga Rangers quest for a super league position next season hit top gear after they demolished Zesco shockers by 7 goals to nil at the Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.
After pulling off some impressive draws in their last two games against City of Lusaka away and at home in mongu against the legendary Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, no one would have thought Zesco Shockers would concede 7 goals in just 90 minutes but it was to be as the Zesco sponsored outfit would be beaten and humiliated in front of the Nchanga Rangers faithful.
In the other game played yesterday in Chililabombwe at the Konkola Stadium, Kafue Celtic’s poor run away from home continued as they lost by a narrow one-nil scoreline, it was a tight game with end to end stuff but it was Konkola Blades that got the all-important winning goal through Christian Mpoi.
All Matches that were broadcast live on ZNBC TV 3 to kick start the FAZ/Startimes partnership, ended in draws with the first game between Zesco Malaiti Rangers Fc and Kansanshi Dynamos Fc ending in a barren stalemate while the second match between City of Lusaka and Livingstone Pirates ended in one all draw.
Kansanshi Dynamos remain unbeaten so far this season but they have recorded five draws and only won three games hence they lie fourth on the log with 14 points.
The draws for City of Lusaka and Chambishi in their respective games mean they remain top with only a goal putting Chambishi above City Yamoto.
The game between Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy and Kashikishi Warriors could not take off as Kashikishi Warriors did not travel but requested for the game to be rescheduled for the 23rd of December, 2020.
