3 OUT OF 3 FOR ZIKIRU, MBOMBO’S SCORCHER TOO GOOD FOR 3 POINTS, GARDEN PARK RAINS GOALS

Week 3 of the Zambia Super League took center stage this afternoon with log leader Forest Rangers continuing with their fine form this season thanks to their top man Zikira Adams who scored the only goal of the match agains Lusaka Dynamos and take his goal tally to 3 goals in 3 matches.

 

But Emmanuel Habasimbi’s goals in the dying minutes of the match spoiled the party for the Ndola based club. Tenant Chilumba’s side is yet to lose a match this season.

 

Goals rained in Kitwe at Garden park as ten men Kitwe United came from behind to snatch a point. Indeni FC took the lead in the early minutes of first before they added another 15 minutes later. The home side pulled one before the interval then added the other after the break.

 

Kitwe United were reduced to ten men after their player was shown a direct red in the second half while in Kabwe it was Mbombo’s show who won the match for Nkana with an exquisite individual goal.

 

The Congolese striker shook off a defender before curling a shot past goalkeeper Lameck Siame into the far post. Red Arrows who visited the same town walked away with 3 point against Prison Leopards.

 

Zesco United and Buildcon won their first match of the season after a poor start, Buildcon shocked Power Dynamos who missed 3 penalties in the first half. Defender Adrian Chama scored the only goal of the match against Lumwana Radiants

 

Napsa Stars was held at home to a scoreless draw by new boys Young Green Eagles. Napsa Stars has drawn all their matches which leaves them on position 11 with 3 points.

Nkana football club should improve their Frontline and having only one key striker _idris Mbombo is not safe for the club in addition Nkana should stop selling key players when they are about to play international games so far they ve lost Kelvin kampamba and Muhammad Musa who where part of the backbone of the team in conclusion let Nkana buy some good strikers before it’s too late
