20, 000 fans allowed to watch World Cup qualifier

Well placed sources indicate the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has been allowed by the Ministry of Health to have 20,000 fans at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Tunisia on September 7.

The ZamFoot Crew is making frantic efforts to find out when FAZ shall issue a statement and how much entry shall cost as our  sources are on firm ground the Ministry of Health has given Football House the green light for 20,000 fans for the Qatar 2022 qualifier..

This positive development could set in motion for FAZ to have its wish to have fans return to the MTN Super Division matches starting on September 11.

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has previously stated that he would like to see fans return to stadia in line with Ministry of Health guidelines.

FAZ can only have fans in the stadia when Ministry of Health approves in line with current COVID 19 protocols.

The 20, 000 for Tunisia match is a welcome development for the 49, 000 seater Ndola stadium.
