Emmanuel Mayuka has continued grabbing the headlines as he scored his third goal in as many matches to help Zamalek to a 2 – 0 win over Al Mokawloon at the Petrosport Stadium.
The Zambian international who is back in full form was involved in both goals as he first provided the assist for M. Koffi in the 43rd minute before wrapping a good night 4 minutes later in the referees optional time.
The former Kabwe Warriors striker received the ball with his back to the net but manage to swiftly turn in a congested area to fire home from inside the box.
This was his third consecutive goal and second in 4 days after he scored on Thursday against El Entag El Harby.
His goals may just make the Chipolopolo reconisder their decision to leave out of the Africa Cup qualifying matches against Congo Brazaville coming this month.
Elsewhere in Egypt, Patrick Ngoma’s Al Ittihad will be in action on Monday at 1445hrs against El Daklyeh.

guys who might watch egytpian league, how strong is this ligue? after the war i hear many teams dont even have a structure. zamalek and al ahly may be strong but what is the overall strenght of the other teams? coz am suspecting its like the congolese leage, 1 strong team and the rest are useless. more like the useless psl.

This guy is just good. The egyptian league is to easy for him. He can score 20 goals in a full season. I doubt he will remain in Egypt. This time let him go to a smaller league in europe like Holland he will flourish there. I expect lwandimina to call him tomorrow to replace patson daka and the other striker who failed at chan.

By the way; am I the only one who noticed that his teammate standing by the goal was not happy when he scored. The guy didn’t even celebrate with the rest of the team.

This brings a good striker selection headache for Lwandamina, a really nice headache. Mbesuma is scoring for fun, Kalengo is scoring for fun, Given has found his scoring boots again, Evans Kangwa is delivering…. nice head ache for the coach. who plays were and what formula to play to compliment all these scoring strikers.
Congrats Mayuka finally you can shut up the naysayers after the France and England flop stints.

Not so soon!!!!!!He is good but his confidence had been seriously punctured. Give him a little more time. We still have the rest of the AFCON qualifiers and the World cup games. Its crowded and we need all the players we can get including Charly Jr.
For me he still has a long way to go. He needs to prove himself after that down trend.
