Zesco United were today held to a 2 – 2 draw by Azam FC of Tanzania at the ongoing international club tournament being played in Congo DR.
Midfielder Justine Zulu was the hero of the day after he accounted for a brace in the game.
Zulu opened the scores in the 28th minute after benefiting from a Clatous Chama pass and he completed his brace in the 70th minute of the second half from the spot after Winstone Kalengo was brought down in the box.
Zulu’s second cancelled out Azam’s lead as they had come from behind to take the lead.
Coach George Lwandamina seemed to have stuck to the team that was regular last season as he gave a glimpse of how he may be lining up his stars come competitive match-day with Jonas Sakuwaha not seeing any action despite being named on the bench.
